Nyko settles Wii controller lawsuit
Nyko and Nintendo have settled a lawsuit involving the Nunchuk controller.

Third party peripheral manufacturer Nyko has struck a deal with Nintendo to sell a redesigned version of its wireless Nunchuk.

Earlier this year Nintendo filed a lawsuit over Nyko's controller, suggesting that the wireless 'Kama' controller "wholly appropriates the novel shape, design, overall appearance and even the colour and materials used in the Nintendo Nunchuk controller", according to Kotaku.

Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime said the company would defend itself against copies of their properties: "The Nunchuk and Wii brands are familiar to consumers worldwide, and Nintendo is dedicated to vigorous defence of those brands."
