'Technical issues' delay 'Fable II' DLC
Microsoft's Lionhead Studios has announced that technical problems have necessitated a delay to the release date of downloadable content (DLC) for Fable II.

The Fable II: Knothole Island expansion pack was due for release last week, but has now been pushed back to January 2009.

Priced at 800 Microsoft Points (£6.80), the pack gives access to the snow-covered Knothole Island where players must return the sunny weather by completing a series of trials.

A message posted on the official Xbox site says: "Due to unexpected technical difficulties, the Fable II: Knothole Island expansion will not be available until late January 2009."

"As a result, the Fable II, Knothole Island Download and Win, [which was] originally scheduled to take place December 22 – 23 2008, has been temporarily suspended."
