'SF II HD' breaks digital sales records
Capcom has revealed that Street Fighter II HD Remix has broken digital sales records by selling 250,000 copies since its release.

The game, which is a high definition remake of the '90s beat 'em up, has broken one day and one week sales records for a digital title, with Capcom believing that it will become the biggest-selling download ever.

"HD Remix has shattered both day one and week one sales records and will most likely break 30 day sales records as well. It's on its way to becoming the highest grossing digital title ever," read a statement from Capcom's John Diamonon.

2009 sees the release of a brand new title in the series, with Street Fighter IV released on February 20.
