Free Radical staff to open new studio?

Lead developers from Free Radical have already started a new studio and will "handpick" former members of staff to join them, according to a report by Edge Online.

With the TimeSplitters developers going into administration, founders David Doak and Steve Ellis have reportedly created a new studio named Pumpkin Beach.

The studio will "handpick" members of the Free Radical team to join them, with a rumoured 20 people having already been offered jobs.

The report also claims that Ellis already has a placeholder website for the new studio registered under his name.
