Published Tuesday, Dec 23 2008, 05:32 GMT | By Andrew Laughlin

In Batman: Arkham Asylum, players take the role of the Caped Crusader as he transports The Joker to incarceration in the facility for the criminally insane.
In a story penned by Emmy Award-winning Batman writer Paul Dini, a cast of super-villains have set a trap for the hero, which leads to a battle of epic proportions.
The game will feature vocal talent from Batman: The Animated Series, including Kevin Conroy as Batman and former Star Wars actor Mark Hamill as The Joker.
Batman: Arkham Asylum will be released for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 at some point during 2009.
