AQ Interactive has announced the cancellation of its Xbox 360 RPG Cry On.
The game was first announced in 2005 as the third 360 RPG from Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, following Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey.
"AQI decided to cancel the project after analysing the current market environment and forecasts for the future. We deeply apologise for troubling those who were awaiting its release," a company spokesperson told 1UP.
The ill-fated title was said to be an action RPG with a soundtrack from Nobuo Uematsu and character designs by Kimihiko Fujisaka. No screenshots were ever released.
