Sony PSP sales soar in Japan

According to figures from Media Create, the DSi sold over 200,000 units for the week ending December 21, while the PSP charged into second place notching up 146,000 sales.
The Wii came in third followed by the PlayStation 3, with the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 2 in fifth and sixth respectively.
In the software chart, PSP exclusive Dissidia: Final Fantasy managed to shift 489,000 units. Other bestsellers include Gundam Musou 2 for PS3, Kirby Super Star Ultra and Tales Of Hearts for the DS and Animal Crossing for Wii.
