'Halo 3' most-played XBL title of 2008

Microsoft has revealed the twenty most-played games on Xbox Live during 2008, with Halo 3 coming out on top.

According to Xbox Live's director of programming 'Major Nelson', Halo 3 beat Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare, GTA IV and Gears Of War 2 to claim the top spot.

Call Of Duty: World At War, which was second to Halo 3 prior to Christmas, was the sixth most-played game of the year, behind the original Gears Of War.
