EA sets release date for 'Godfather II'

Electronic Arts (EA) has announced that its mafia action game Godfather II will be released in the UK on March 6.

Based on events from Francis Ford Coppola's celebrated movie, the open-world action game involves players building up their own crime family over three American cities.

Gamers who pre-order the title with certain retailers will receive an extra crew member, called Tommy Cipolla, for their family.

At the start of the single player campaign, players can only recruit basic level crew members who have one speciality and one firearm.

However, Cipolla will posses two specialities - medic and arsonist - and also wield a double-barrelled shotgun at level two.
