'LittleBigPlanet' sells 1.3 million copies

'LittleBigPlanet' sells 1.3 million copies
Creative PlayStation 3 platformer LittleBigPlanet has sold 1.3 million units worldwide, it has been revealed.

Speaking at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Sony Computer Entertainment CEO Kaz Hirai also announced the amount of content that has been created for the game.

To date there are over 300,000 user-created levels, with around two years of game time clocked up by its users, according to Kotaku.

Released in November, the platformer allows users to create, share and play content from other players.

The PS3 exclusive ranked third in Digital Spy's top ten games of last year.
