A demo of Electronic Arts' Skate 2 is now available to download via Xbox Live Marketplace.
The original Skate was a surprise smash hit back in 2007, outselling Tony Hawk's Proving Ground by a ratio of almost two to one.
According to EA, the demo will allow players to "hone your skills before Skate 2 hits stores as you rip around Slappy's, move objects to create spots, and take on new set of challenges".
The download also includes a four-player Hall of Meat multiplayer challenge.
Skate 2 will be available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 from January 23.
