'FIFA 09' exceeds two million units

The company does not expect sales of its popular football sim to slow down any time soon, and will continue to promote the game until the end of the 08/09 season.
"The studio created a game that appeals to everyone. We've listened to our consumers and delivered the game they wanted with rich gameplay and innovation," said EA's UK marketing manager Dan Holman.
"We had a couple of well-timed promotions in place in the run-up to Christmas, but, more importantly, we've made an exceptional football game this year which has sold incredible numbers week on week since release.
"We have now sold in excess of two million in the UK making it the fastest selling FIFA title to date."
