Rumour: DSi priced and dated for US

The Nintendo DSi will have an April release and sub-$200 price tag in the US, according to speculation.

Sources close to Nintendo say that the console will be released on April 4 for $179.99 (£123.50), $50 more than the current DS Lite model, according to IGN.

This contradicts original comments from company president Satoru Iwata, saying that it would be released in the late summer.

There are no official comments on the rumour, or any details on a European release.
