A Take-Two spokesperson told Kokatu that there was 'no truth' in the rumours of a brand new GTA title arriving by the end of the year.
Rumours of a 2009 release for a new GTA surfaced after US magazine Game Informer claimed that Rockstar was working on a new title, which would possibly be set in Tokyo.
Rockstar did reveal that it expects both of the planned GTA IV expansions to be released by October 31, with the first, The Lost & The Damned, coming on February 17.
