The Japanese firm said in a statement that the title will offer two-player split screen mode with gamers using the Wii Remote to perform a range of tennis strikes and Power Shots.
It also revealed that control types will vary in difficulty to ensure that the game appeals to "players of all levels of gameplay experience".
The New Play Control! range involves first-party games which have been transported from the GameCube to the Wii console.
New Play Control! Pikmin will be released on February 6 and allows players to take the role of space explorer Captain Olimar as he encounters curious flower creatures on a distant planet.
