Tomb Raider: Underworld
The studio, which was purchased to increase Eidos's casual games output, has been closed as part of a cost-cutting measure by the Tomb Raider publishers.
An Eidos spokesperson told Develop: "As a company we need to focus our efforts on high-quality titles that will deliver long-term franchise value, and in these incredibly challenging and competitive times we need to pro-actively manage our cost base."
The move comes just two weeks after Eidos revealed that it was disappointed with Tomb Raider: Underworld sales.
