Published Monday, Jan 26 2009, 16:00 GMT | By Liam Martin

The current number of tracks stands at 49, 28 of which are by Metallica and 21 by artists that have toured with or influenced the band; however, it's possible that this number could grow.
Metallica also revealed that the game will feature an Expert+ setting and a number of classic venues such as the L.A. Forum, Tushino Airfield and The Hammersmith Odeon.
Fans who downloaded the band's Death Magnetic album will see the songs transferred to the main game, while the Wii and PS2 versions, which aren't compatible with the download, will feature 'Broken Beat & Scarred', 'Cyanide' and 'My Apocalypse'.
