'Crysis'
The deal was completed late last night to save more than 40 jobs at the Nottingham-based studio,
which went into administration just before Christmas.
It is unknown whether studio properties such as the popular TimeSplitters series were part of the deal.
Crytek are best known for their work on Crysis and the original Far Cry.
