Speculation began when the GoNintendo blog reported that the title had been removed from GameStop’s website.
It was later confirmed that online retailer Amazon had listed the game as ‘cancelled’, and publisher Eidos removed it from its website.
Eidos and developer Backbone Entertainment have yet to confirm the game’s demise.
