After announcing the title earlier this month, Electronic Arts has now provided further details, reports MCV.
Dead Space: Extraction will take place before the original action-adventure game.
Built from the ground up for the console, it will include motion controls and co-operative multiplayer, features new for the series.
The title is developed by EA Redwood Studios, which created the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC versions. It will be released in the autumn.
