The RPG from the makers of Final Fantasy will feature several improvements when it arrives on platform next month. Character animation has been revamped, battle speed increased and players will be given the choice between English and Japanese voiceovers.
"We hope to reach a new audience with the Games for Windows version of The Last Remnant," commented Square president John Yamamoto.
"The work that has been put into this version of the game is truly stunning and I hope that fans enjoy this exciting new adventure."
The game was released for the Xbox 360 last year. A PlayStation 3 port is also expected in the near future.
