The original Leisure Suit Larry

Codemasters has emerged as the new publisher of Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust after the Activision/Blizzard merger left the game's fate in the balance.

The company's casual gaming arm, Funsta, has picked up the publishing rights to the adult-themed title, which has been given a Mature rating by the ESRB.

Box Office Bust is the eighth game in the popular adventure series, excluding spinoffs and remakes, and the second to star Larry Lovage, nephew of the titular character. The franchise debuted back in 1987 with the classic Leisure Suit Larry In The Land Of The Lounge Lizards.

The new game is due in April for Xbox 360, PC and PS3.
