The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault On Dark Athena will be released on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on April 7 in North America and April 24 in Europe.
Combining stealth mechanics with gun play and hand-to-hand combat, the third-person action game will feature a new campaign for troubled hero Riddick.
The single disc will also include a high-definition remake of the last game in the series, Escape from Butcher Bay, as well as various multiplayer options.
The release date will be preceded by the launch of a playable demo at some point during March on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network.
Atari picked up publishing duties for the game after Activision Blizzard divested it during the merger with Vivendi.
