Weaver wanted role in 'Ghostbusters' game
Sigourney Weaver reconsidered starring in Ghostbusters: The Video Game after she heard Bill Murray had signed up for the project, Gamereactor reports.

According to the game’s producer Brendan Goss, the actress originally turned down an offer to reprise her role as Dana Barrett - the character she portrayed in the 1984 film - but had second thoughts when she heard that Murray was on board.

At this point, however, a new female lead had been written in and another actress cast.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game is slated for a June release, arriving on DS, PC, PS2, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360.
