'Resident Evil 5' multiplayer detailed

New trophies for the PlayStation 3 version reveal a number of modes to be added to the game post launch, report Joystiq.
The game types include Slayers, Survivors, Team Slayers, Team Survivors and Versus.
The trophies hint at their content, including competitive multiplay in Versus, point accumulation in Survivors, and combos in Slayers.
The modes are all expected to be online, a first for the series outside of the Resident Evil Outbreak games for the PlayStation 2.
Resident Evil 5 is released this week for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
