TV and radio presenter Jonathan Ross has accidentally announced Fable III is in development over social networking site Twitter.

Attending and presenting an award at last night's Video Game BAFTAs, he posted that he was offered voice work for the unannounced Fable III, according to Eurogamer.

After the show, he posted: "Goodnight all. Must go to bed. Got asked to do voice in Fable 3 tonight. Subarashi. Oyasuminasia. Woss out."

He later confirmed that Charlie Brooker had accepted to do voice work for the game, and that it would be "great fun".

Earlier today he realised his mistake: "Good morning. Today I must file DVDs, write a piece for The Times, apologise to Peter Molyneux then go Thorpe Park for SAW rollercoaster!"

Fable II picked up the BAFTA for Best Action Adventure game at last night's ceremony.
