This will be a bigger version of the game currently available via Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA).
Speaking to the gaming website last month, studio founder Martyn Brown confirmed that a PSN version of Worms was in the works.
He added: "It's been fully optimised for the platform [including 1080p] and contains a lot more content than the original XBLA launch simply because there was no size limitation."
The game is already available for PS3 gamers in the US, but the European release has been delayed "due to additional language testing".
