DSiWare Shop officially opens
The DSiWare Shop has officially opened with the release of the Nintendo DSi.

The store will sell games and applications only accessible on the new system, according to Eurogamer.

Games are split into four price bands - free, 200 points, 500 points and Premium, where 100 points are worth £0.90.

Five games are currently available - Paper Plane and Pyoro can be downloaded for 200 points (£1.80), and Art Style: AQUITE, Art Style: CODE and WarioWare Snapped! are 500 points (£4.50) each.

There are currently no Premium titles, however the Opera web browser can be downloaded for free.

Early adopters to the system have been given 1,000 DSi points to spend, with more available via in-store cards or online payment.
