Developed by Rocksteady Studios, the stealth-based third-person action game is scheduled for release on June 9 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
Eidos head of UK marketing Jon Brooke told MCV that the title will not only become the "biggest game of the summer" but also "one of the stand-out games of the year".
Brooke claimed that the game is "as close to perfect as we've ever come" with "amazing" graphics and game-play in a "rich, twisting storyline".
"I'm confident enough to say that it will set a new benchmark for licensed games and it's going to establish itself as one of our best games ever," he said.
The publisher plans to "make some noise" with an "extensive" promotional campaign ahead of the game's release.
