Soldiers defend 'Six Days In Fallujah'
A group of Iraq war veterans have claimed they have "no problem" with Konami's upcoming warfare sim Six Days In Fallujah.

The game sparked controversy when it was announced last week, with peace groups and families calling for it to be banned, but a group of soldiers told G4TV that they believe the title could have a positive impact.

"I believe that this could be a good thing for both combat veterans and for the war in general," said Sergeant Casey J. McGeorge, who believes a game set during the conflict could help the public understand what it was like for soldiers on the frontline.

Army Sergeant Kevin Smith added that the game could "hopefully bolster support" for the troops and encourge empathy towards veterans, while Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant John Mundy pointed out that opponents of the game "can spend their money elsewhere."

Six Days In Fallujah is expected to be released some time in 2010.
