According to the job description on Career Builder, the software development engineer will participate in the "ambitious task" of taking the Halo community to "the next level".
This will involve blending "console, web and mobile to create an immersive Halo world that follows the dedicated Halo fan wherever they go".
It is also being suggested that the new project may involve aspects of massively multiplayer online gaming, as the role involves "designing the infrastructure for simulation [of] millions of concurrent users on the service".
The successful applicant will also "deliver a great out-of-game interactive experience that takes the next step beyond the systems found in Halo 3".
