Sony shifts 'inFamous' release date
Sony has announced that PS3 exclusive game inFamous will be released a month earlier than planned.

Sucker Punch's open-world action title was originally slated for a June release, but will now hit retail outlets in North America on May 26.

The firm also indicated that a playable demo for the game will be launched on the PlayStation Network (PSN) on May 21.

However, anyone pre-ordering the game at selected retailers will be able to access the demo earlier on May 7.

They will also receive the Gigawatt Blades in-game superpower, alongside a limited-edition costume for use in the PSN's Home network.

Incorporating sandbox style gaming, inFamous involves players taking the role of bike messenger Cole McGrath, who acquires electricity-based superpowers after an explosion in the fictional Empire City.
