According to the newspaper, a mobile port of the classic football management sim is currently undergoing quality control tests at Apple, with an App Store release expected in the coming weeks.
The game originally appeared on the PC in 1992 and has since spawned one of the bestselling football management franchises. The series is currently in the hands of Eidos, with its latest incarnation Championship Manager 09 expected to be released during the company’s next fiscal year.
An official release date for the iPhone port is yet to be announced, but rumours have suggested its arrival on the App Store is imminent.
