EA says no multiplayer for 'The Saboteur'

Set in a scaled down version of Paris under occupation by the Nazis, players take the role of Irish race car driver and daredevil Sean Devlin to subvert the German forces.
Speaking at its spring showcase event in London, executive producer Tom French confirmed that the game will not feature online multiplayer or co-operative play.
He explained this was something the team talked about at the "conception stages", which brought up some "really interesting" and "cool" ideas.
"But ultimately once we really started focusing on Sean, his character and the story, it was a lot to handle, as well as building this new [Odin] engine," French explained.
"It was something that we realised was just going to be impossible to tackle in a way. But it also became a distraction from our story."
French revealed that an exact release date for the game has not yet been agreed, as the team are waiting for the "right window" to do the project justice.
