Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli responded to questions about whether foreign ownership has been in the best interests of the Midlands-based studio.
"If someone has that concern, they should ask the people that are actually there," he told Develop.
"We have provided the team at Crytek UK a structure and a future that clearly shows improvement. We are working with Free Radical on things that they always dreamed to do.
"We are providing the team a road map and the chance to grow, which is why we were picked as a partner and not anyone else."
The Nottingham-based studio was bought out by the German developer last year after it went into administration.
After releasing PS3 exclusive Haze, the team was working on TimeSplitters 4 and a new Star Wars Battlefront game, which has since changed hands with Rebellion.
