According to GamingIndians, Eidos's Ian Livingstone said that the title will be developed by IO Interactive; although he was unable to reveal the release date.
"It's being worked on, but there's been no announcement on the release date yet. We haven't even announced the game yet, so everything you hear about the next Hitman game is purely speculation at this point," he said.
IO Interactive is also working on the sequel to Kane & Lynch as well as the upcoming Mini Ninjas.
