Vorderman to star in healthy DS game

Carol Vorderman is to feature in a healthy living Nintendo DS game this summer.

Active Health With Carol Vorderman will provide gamers with an exercise programme and daily targets, according to Eurogamer.

It will come with a pedometer, which connects to the game to record how many calories have been burned, and can also sync with Wii Fit to track exercises along with the balance board.

Players can compete against Vorderman in a calorie counting mini-game, by selecting the right choice of healthy foods to add up to a specific calorie total.

Active Health With Carol Vorderman is due for release on August 7.
