According to Gamespot, a pre-E3 press release from the firm said that the game will be titled The Lord Of The Rings: Aragorn's Quest.
The accompanying description claims that it will be the "first Lord Of The Rings video game created specifically for kids and their families, with accessible gameplay set in a friendly, colourful rendition of Middle Earth".
Players will take the role of Strider/Aragorn and take part in one of his "greatest quests" from the trilogy, involving "action-oriented sword fighting, lancing and archery".
More details are expected to be announced when the E3 Expo gets underway on June 1.
