Next Kojima project linked to 'MGS'

After a series of countdowns on the developer’s website, the face of Metal Gear Solid character Big Boss appeared along with flashes of lightning.
Additionally, a scan from Japanese magazine Famitsu revealed artwork of Big Boss and Raiden.
The images confirm that the team will be working on a Metal Gear game, either a spin-off or continuation of the main series.
However, Joystiq has reported that both characters are from different time periods - Big Boss was seen in his Vietnam combat gear, while Raiden was part-cyborg from MGS4, so it is unknown when or how the game will be set up.
Konami teased that all will be revealed at E3 next week.
