While movies haven't had a particularly good track record at being turned into games, that hasn't stopped Sega and Pyro Studios from having a go with TriStar's upcoming animated comedy Planet 51.
The film sees astronaut Charles 'Chuck' Baker land on a planet full of little green people who view him as an alien. The game will feature numerous story-based driving missions, and, according to Sega, was developed in conjunction with the movie.
Whether Planet 51 reverses the trend of poor movie tie-ins remains to be seen, but you’ll be able to judge for yourselves when it launches this winter.
