PS3, Xbox 'Crysis 2' 'will be similar'

The first Crysis game for the PC received widespread critical acclaim when it was released in 2007, but was also notoriously demanding on the hardware required to run it.
Its sequel will mark the arrival of the franchise on the consoles - made possible thanks to the development of the CryENGINE 3.
This has led to some commentators arguing that the title's considerable power requirements could reveal the true comparative performance of each system.
Speaking to Develop Mag, Crytek chief executive Cevat Yerli said that the console versions will deliver a comparable experience but that the PC iteration will be considerably better.
"As for difference, between consoles and PC I see a difference. The PC version will outscale and outperform the consoles," he said.
"Between each console I believe the experience will finally be next-generation, but similar."
