Speaking to Official Xbox Magazine at the E3 Expo, senior vice-president of EA Games Europe Patrick Soderlund praised Microsoft's Project Natal motion sensing controller as a "cool" and "interesting" device.
"So I'm truly impressed by Xbox. It's my personal favourite console...I think Microsoft is on a roll right now," he remarked.
"They're doing really well. If I was Sony, I would have a headache, to be honest."
However, the executive also suggested that EA's developers have "maxed out the 360, but we haven't maxed out the PS3".
Soderlund pointed out that Sony has a "lot of good games" coming out this year, which is part of a "very consistent, high-quality product line-up".
He also predicted that developers are now "getting to understand the PS3 better", meaning "more power" is being harnessed from the console at the moment.
