Microsoft denies new Xbox rumours

A report on US gaming website 1UP claimed that an improved Xbox may arrive next year to coincide with the introduction of motion control device Project Natal.
It was suggested that the new unit will feature slightly enhanced hardware specifications as well as backwards compatibility to the Xbox 360.
However, Xbox director of product management Aaron Greenberg told Eurogamer that the "excitement" surrounding Project Natal is because it will offer a "next generation experience this generation".
He added: "With that said, I can confirm that Natal will run on Xbox 360 so no new console investment will be necessary."
The gaming site also quotes another Microsoft source as saying: "Don't believe nonsense on the internet is all I'll say. We'll do the right thing for Natal."
