Serious Sam: The First Encounter HD will contain upgraded visuals, as well as a four player co-op mode.
Croteam CEO Roman Ribaric said: "The fans have lobbied us hard to do this, so we are stoked about bringing Sam back as big, bold and bad as he ever was."
The FPS, which was first released in 2001, will be available to download from Xbox Live Arcade later this summer.
