'Aliens' RPG officially cancelled
Video game developer Obsidian has revealed that its planned Aliens RPG has been cancelled.

The RPG, which was due to be published by Sega, has been rumoured to have been cancelled for some time and Obsidian has now confirmed the news on its official forum.

"Unfortunately, it is true that we are no longer working on the game, and we wanted to finally announce that officially to everyone who has been following its development," the firm said.

Obsidian said that it plans to keep the forums open for another week and also plugged upcoming PS3, 360 and PC game Alpha Protocol.
