'Lost Planet 2' demo coming to Xbox Live
Capcom has revealed that a playable demo for third-person action game Lost Planet 2 will soon become available on Xbox Live, reports Joystiq.

While appearing on Famitsu's Midnight Live 360 show, the game's producer Jun Takeuchi said that the taster will offer the same four-player co-operative action that was shown at E3 earlier in the month.

The action featured a giant insect-like boss that had to be taken down with bipedal mech suits and rocket launchers.

Talking about when the demo will become available to Xbox gamers, Takeuchi said: "Soon, I guess."

He also revealed that the finished title will feature computer-controlled co-op bots, as well as customisable weapon sets and character types.

Lost Planet 2 will be released on Xbox 360 and PS3 at some point next year.
