Sony experimenting with motion technology
Sony has patented a further motion control device that allows for everyday items to be used in games.

According to Siliconera, the new system lets any 3D item be scanned from multiple angles by a camera, which then translates into an in-game object.

The example used in the patent shows a U-shaped block, which when tilted at different angles extends as a sword.

The new device follows the LED wand that was revealed at Sony's E3 conference.
