Konami has revealed details about PES 2010 on the Wii, which will be released this autumn alongside the PC, PS2, PS3, PSP and Xbox 360 versions.
It was announced last month that Liverpool star Fernando Torres will join Barcelona's Lionel Messi in fronting the title.
For the Wii version, Konami has particularly focused on improving the gameplay compared to PES 2009.
The decision has included efforts to prevent overuse of the sprint button by introducing a new stamina function which affects a player's control and energy if they have been constantly running.
So-called AI feints have also been introduced to make it easier to pass defenders while dribbling, meaning that defending players will have to work together when shutting down attacks.
Set piece plays such as free kicks will now be taken from the player's perspective, with a new control system enabling greater power and swerve on the ball.
Finally, the game offers a Master League tournament incorporating both Champions League and Europa League (formally the Uefa Cup), including all players from featured teams being available for transfer.
