'Alien Breed' remake detailed
Published Friday, Jul 10 2009, 10:42 BST | By Matthew Reynolds

Based on the 1991 Amiga shooter that put the Worms developer on the map, the 'retro-modern' Alien Breed Evolution will be powered by the Unreal 3 engine.
It will use the same top-down shooting mechanics as before, but variable difficulty settings will make the series more accessible for newcomers.
Although formats have yet to be announced, Team 17 told DS that "the game is coming initially to XBLA", suggesting that possible PSN and PC versions are in development.
Alien Breed Evolution will be released by the end of the year.
