Midway loses 60 corporate staff

After Warner Interactive assumed ownership of the developer last month, it shut down Midway’s corporate office in Chicago.
All employees, including chief executive Matthew Booty, have been given 60 days' notice.
The lay-offs will not impact the development studio in Chicago, with the 100-strong team offered jobs by Warner.
There have also been suggestions that the Midway brand will be dissolved.
